كلمة السيد الرئيس/ عبــد الفتــاح السيســى خلال المؤتمر الصحفى المشترك مع جلالة الملك “حمد بن عيسى آل خليفة” عاهل البحرين

أخي صاحب الجلالة، الملك/ حمد بن عيسى آل خليفة.. ملك مملكة البحرين الشقيقة، السيدات والسادة،
اسمحوا لي بداية، أن أرحب بشقيقي جلالة الملك “حمد بن عيسى آل خليفة”، في بلده الثاني مصر في زيارة كريمة تأتي في إطار العلاقات الأخوية والمتميزة التي تربط بلدينا وشعبينا الشقيقين.
السيدات والسادة، نجتمع اليوم في وقت بالغ الدقة وشديد الخطورة نتيجة الحرب الإسرائيلية الدموية على قطاع غزة، واستمرار السقوط المروع لآلاف المدنيين الأبرياء لا حول لهم ولا قوة، ولا ذنب لهم، إلا أنهم يتواجدون فى أراضيهم، ويتشبثون ببيوتهم وأوطانهم، ويطمحون إلى العيش بعزة وكرامة وإنسانية.
هى لحظة فارقة دون شك، سيتوقف عندها التاريخ، لما تشهده من استمرار الاستخدام المفرط للقوة العسكرية في ترويع المدنيين وتجويعهم، وعقابهم جماعياً لإجبارهم على النزوح والتهجير القسري في ظل مشاهدة عاجزة من المجتمع الدولى، وغياب أى قدرة أو إرادة دولية على إنجاز العدالة أو إنفاذ القانون الدولي أو القانون الدولي الإنساني أو حتى أبسط مفاهيم الإنسانية.
لقد ناقشت مع شقيقى، جلالة الملك جهود بلدينا، والجهد العربى المشترك للتعامل مع هذا الوضع غير القابل للاستمرار ووضع حد له، والأهم ضمان عدم تكراره من خلال العمل على توحيد الإرادة الدولية لإنفاذ وقف فورى ومستدام لإطلاق النار فى قطاع غزة، ووقف كل محاولات التهجير القسرى أو التجويع أو العقاب الجماعـــــي للشـــــعب الفلســطيني الشــقيــق، والنفاذ الكامل والمستدام والكافى للمساعدات الإنسانية للقطاع، مع الانخراط الجاد والفورى فى مسارات التوصل لحل سياسى عادل ومستدام للقضية الفلسطينية على أساس حل الدولتين وإنفاذ دولة فلسطينية على حدود الرابع من يونيو 1967 وعاصمتها القدس الشرقية، والاعتراف الدولى بها، وحصولها على العضوية الكاملة فى الأمم المتحدة.
السيدات والسادة، لقد حذرت مصر كثيراً ليس فقط من تبعات تلك الحرب السياسية والأمنية والإنسانية المباشرة على الأشقاء فى فلسطين المحتلة، وإنما كذلك مما ستجره لا محالة من اتساع للصراع وامتداد حتمى لدعوات التصعيد والانتقام وإدخال المنطقة فى دائرة من العنف والعنف المضاد، فتتسع دائرته لتلتهم دون رحمة أى أمل لشعوب المنطقة فى سلام وحياة مستقرة آمنة.
وها قد شهدت المنطقة على مدار الأشهر القليلة الأخيرة تبعات بالغة لاستمرار هذه الحرب حيث تمتد نيرانها إلى مختلف أنحاء المنطقة، فأصبحنا أمام ما نشهده اليوم من وضع إقليمى بالغ التوتر والخطورة يضع أمن واستقرار ومستقبل شعوبنا موضع تهديد حقيقى وجاد.
لقد ناقشت مع شقيقى جلالة ملك البحرين تفصيلاً هذه التطورات الإقليمية المقلقة، وتصورات التعامل معها فى إطار اتفاقنا معاً على ضرورة الحفاظ على أمن واستقرار المنطقة وشعوبها ضد مختلف المهددات، وعدم ترك مصائرها لإرادة دعاة الحروب فى إطار أولوية الأمن العربى المشترك الذى نعتبره كلاً لا يتجزأ.
وقد اتفقنا على ضرورة التكثيف والتشجيع الفورى لجهود إيقاف التصعيد سواء فى الأراضى الفلسطينية أو على المستوى الإقليمى، والعمل على دفع الأطراف إلى انتهاج العقلانية والحلول الدبلوماسية، والتخلى عن الحلول العسكرية وتصورات الغلبة والنفوذ والهيمنة، والسماح للجهود المخلصة الهادفة للسلام بالنجاح وفتح مسار بديل لشعوب ودول المنطقة يحمل أملاً بمستقبل؛ توحد فيه شعوب ودول المنطقة جهودها من أجل الرخاء والتنمية.
أخى صاحب الجلالة، مرة أخرى، أجدد ترحيبى بكم وأتطلع إلى المزيد من التعاون الوثيق بين بلدينا، بما يحقق مصالح شعبينا الشقيقين وأمتنا العربية متمنيا لكم ولمملكة البحرين الشقيقة كل الخير والازدهار.

My brother, Your Majesty King Hamad bin Isa Al Khalifa,
King of the Kingdom of Bahrain
Ladies and gentlemen,
I would like to begin by extending a special welcome to my brother, His Majesty King Hamad bin Isa Al Khalifa, to his second homeland Egypt for a cordial visit that reaffirms the brotherly and exceptional bonds that our two countries and their peoples share.
Ladies and gentlemen,
Today, we are gathering at a time of great peril as a result of the bloody Israeli war on the Gaza Strip and the inexorable loss of thousands of helpless and innocent civilians in scenes of untold horror. They have done nothing more than live in their own land, clinging to their homes and homeland, and yearning for a life with dignity, pride and humanity.
It is, unequivocally, a watershed moment that will endure in the annals of history, given the outrageous use of military force to terrorize, starve and inflict unimaginable suffering on innocent civilians, collectively and indiscriminately, to terrify them into abandoning their homes and be forcibly displaced from their own land. All this unfolds while the international community stands-by idly, with its ability or will to uphold justice and enforce international law, international humanitarian law or even the basic tenets of humanity, utterly crippled.
Today, His Majesty King Hamad bin Isa and I deliberated on our countries’ efforts and joint Arab action to address this untenable situation, bring it to an end and, above all, prevent its recurrence. For this to happen, the international community shall stand united to enforce an immediate, urgent and lasting ceasefire in the Gaza Strip, end any attempts of coerced displacement, starvation or collective punishment of the brotherly Palestinian people, and ensure the full-fledged, unfettered and sustainable flow of sufficient quantities of desperately-needed humanitarian aid and relief to the sector. In parallel, the parties shall immediately embark, in earnest, on tracks conducive to a just and enduring political solution to the Palestinian cause, on the basis of the two-state solution, and the establishment of an independent, sovereign Palestinian State, along the June 4, 1967 borders, with East Jerusalem as its capital, enjoying both international acknowledgment and full membership of the United Nations.
Ladies and gentlemen,
Egypt has repeatedly warned not only against the direct political, security and humanitarian ramifications of this war on the brothers in occupied Palestine, but also of the inevitable adverse spillover of the conflict and the subsequent, unavoidable calls for escalation and retribution that will plunge the region into a cycle of violence and counter-violence, expanding its realm to ruthlessly obliterate any hope of peace and of a stable, secure life for the peoples of the region.
Indeed, over the past few months, the region has been experiencing the devastating consequences of the ongoing war, as its flames spiraled outward, creating the current intensely fraught and perilous state in the region, that gravely jeopardizes the security, stability and future of our peoples.
Today, His Majesty the King of Bahrain and I thoroughly discussed these troubling regional developments and our visions for addressing them, driven by our shared belief in the crucial importance of safeguarding the security and stability of the region and its peoples against multiple threats, and of not abandoning their fate to the will of warmongers. This commitment is grounded in the principle of prioritizing common Arab security, which we consider as indivisible.
We agreed on the urgent need to exert and encourage immediate and intensive efforts toward de-escalation, both in the Palestinian territories and at the regional level. We also concurred about the importance of urging the parties to adopt a rational approach, embrace political solutions, and abandon military solutions and notions of dominance and hegemony. His Majesty the King of Bahrain and I shared the view that unwavering efforts for peace shall prevail and an alternative path shall emerge for the countries and peoples of the region, one that is filled with hope for the future, where they join efforts to achieve prosperity and development.
My brother, Your Majesty, once again I would like to welcome you, and look forward to forging closer cooperation between our countries for the benefit of our brotherly peoples and the Arab nation, wishing the Kingdom of Bahrain all good and prosperity.
