باللغتين العربية والإنجليزية الرئيس السيسى يستقبل رئيسة مفوضية الاتحاد الأوروبي كامل شحاته
استقبل السيد الرئيس عبد الفتاح السيسي اليوم السيدة “أورسولا فون ديرلاين” رئيسة مفوضية الاتحاد الأوروبي، بحضور السيد سامح شكري وزير الخارجية وكبار مسئولي المفوضية الأوروبية.
وصرح المتحدث الرسمي باسم رئاسة الجمهورية المستشار أحمد فهمي أن اللقاء ركز على مستجدات التصعيد العسكري الإسرائيلي في الأراضي الفلسطينية، حيث أكد السيد الرئيس موقف مصر بضرورة الوقف الفوري لإطلاق النار في غزة وحماية المدنيين، وضمان إيصال المساعدات الإغاثية لأهالي القطاع الذين يتعرضون لمعاناة إنسانية هائلة، مشدداً على ضرورة اضطلاع المجتمع الدولي بمسئولياته وتنفيذ قراري مجلس الأمن والجمعية العامة للأمم المتحدة في هذا الشأن، ومستعرضاً الجهود التي تقوم بها مصر في ذلك السياق إلى جانب استقبال المصابين الفلسطينيين وإجلاء الرعايا الأجانب، ومن جانبها عرضت رئيسة المفوضية الأوروبية تقييمها لتطورات الأوضاع في غزة، وأكدت تقدير الاتحاد الأوروبي البالغ للدور الجوهري الذي تقوم به مصر في هذا الصدد.
كما شدد السيد الرئيس خلال اللقاء على رفض مصر القاطع لتهجير الفلسطينيين، سواء بالنزوح داخلياً أو بالتهجير خارج أراضيهم لاسيما إلى الأراضي المصرية في سيناء، وهو ما اتفقت معه رئيسة المفوضية الأوروبية مؤكدة الموقف الأوروبي برفض التهجير، وأكد الجانبان أن الحل الوحيد للقضية الفلسطينية يكمن في تحقيق السلام الشامل والعادل على أساس حل الدولتين وفقاً للمرجعيات الدولية المعتمدة.
وذكر المتحدث باسم رئاسة الجمهورية أن اللقاء تطرق أيضاً إلى سبل تعزيز علاقات التعاون بين مصر والاتحاد الأوروبي، في ضوء ما يجمع الطرفين من روابط وثيقة، وتم الاتفاق على مواصلة العمل لتعزيز هذه العلاقات ودفعها إلى آفاق أرحب في مختلف المجالات.
Today, President Abdel Fattah El-Sisi received President of the European Commission, Ursula von der Leyen. The meeting was also attended by Foreign Minister, Sameh Shoukry, and senior officials from the European Commission.
Spokesman for the Presidency, Counselor Ahmed Fahmy, said the meeting focused on the latest in the Israeli military escalation in the Palestinian Territories. President El-Sisi underscored Egypt’s unwavering position with regard to the imperative necessity of an immediate ceasefire in Gaza, the protection of civilians and ensuring the delivery of relief aid to the people in the Gaza Strip, who are being subjected to enormous human suffering. The President also emphasized the vital need for the international community to assume its responsibilities and for the implementation of the resolutions of the UN Security Council and the General Assembly in this regard. President El-Sisi reviewed Egypt’s efforts in this context, in addition to its role in the reception of wounded Palestinians and the evacuation of foreign nationals. For her part, the President of the European Commission offered an overview of her assessment of the developments in Gaza. She confirmed the EU’s huge appreciation for Egypt’s fundamental role in this regard.
President El-Sisi reiterated Egypt’s categorical rejection of the displacement of the Palestinians, whether by internal displacement or their forces displacement outside their land, particularly to the Egyptian territories in Sinai. Mrs. von der Leyen agreed with this and stressed the European position of rejecting the displacement of the Palestinians. The two sides asserted that the only solution to the Palestinian issue is to achieve just and comprehensive peace, based on the two-state solution, in accordance with the adopted international terms of reference.
The meeting also discussed ways to strengthen cooperation relations between Egypt and the European Union, given the firm and close bonds the two sides share. There was an agreement on furthering efforts toward bolstering these relations and promoting them toward broader prospects in an array of fields.
