تمثال إيزيس الغامض: هذه التحفة الفنية والثقافية تعرض في المتحف اليوناني الروماني بالإسكندرية، تمثال نادر وفريد من نوعه، يجمع بين عناصر من الثقافتين اليونانية والمصرية القديمة. إنه تمثال بدون رأس للمعبودة إيزيس، التي كانت تعبد في العصرين اليوناني والروماني (332 ق.م. – 395 م) كرمز للخصوبة والحكمة والسحر. المادة التي صنع منها التمثال هي البازلت، وهو نوع من الصخور البركانية السوداء، وارتفاعه حوالي 100 سم. تم اكتشاف التمثال في عمق البحر بمنطقة أبو قير بالإسكندرية، التي كانت مركزًا هامًا للتجارة والديانات في العصور القديمة. تم عرض التمثال مؤقتًا في متحف الآثار بمكتبة الإسكندرية منذ عام 2008، حتى تم نقله مجددًا إلى مكانه الأصلي في المتحف اليوناني الروماني في 16 أغسطس 2022.

The material from which the statue was made is basalt, a type of black volcanic rock, and its height is about 100 centimeters. The statue was discovered in the Abu Qir area of Alexandria, which was an important center of trade and religion in ancient times. The statue has been temporarily displayed at the BA Antiquities Museum since 2008, until it was moved back to its original place at the Greco-Roman Museum on 16 August 2022.
